"The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him." Nahum 1:7
MINISTRIES
OMIE'S HOME
OMIE'S HOME

On average, the home has 40 children at any given time. Monthly expenses include: food, medical, electric and staff. We staff our facilities in accordance with Indian regulations which require: cooks, watchmen and tutors for each home.

Maintenance is an ongoing cost. Imagine having 40 children running through your home!

EDUCATION FUND

Public school in India is not free. Many children living in poverty are unable to attend school because of the cost. Sadly, this continues the cycle of poverty. Each year, we raise funds to pay for the children to attend public school. We also pay for any child pursuing an undergraduate degree. In this way, we equip the children to break the poverty cycle through education.
BEYOND
These are active ministries that go beyond our main work with the children's home
WIDOWS FUND

On a monthly basis, widows from the surrounding community join the local church for a Bible study and luncheon. Each widow is provided with food for half the month, primarily rice and oil. Many of these widows survive day to day and this is their only support. Currently, 90 widows are in attendance.
LEPER'S COMMUNITY

We've worked with the Leper's Community over the last several years to gradually improve their living conditions. We've brought running water to their community and fund raised to have outhouses with showers installed outside each of their huts. Each year, we try to take on a special project in their community
The Josephine Cramer Emergency Medical Fund

Set up in honor of Josephine Cramer, this fund is used solely for medical issues that may arise with the children. This is an on going fund and donations can be designated as Josephine Cramer Fund.
HOLY SPIRIT
WORSHIP MINISTRY

Holy Spirit Worship Ministries is a small church plant in a city in the southern part of Andhra Pradesh, India.
The city is one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Hindus in India. The famous temples there draw millions of pilgrims every year.
The Ministry is the vision of Jacob and his wife, Swapna. As well as reaching out to preach the Gospel to the people in the local community, Jacob’s heart is also towards the poor, older women and widows of the community, many of whom don’t have families to support them.

BEYOND THE BEYOND ...
Periodically, we are in a position to go beyond our normal ministry and help or raise funds for other ministries
HOMELESS MINISTRY

On a monthly basis, the local church and some of the older children from Omie's home go into the community to deliver meals to the homeless. Roughly 125 meals are prepared and distributed. During the winter season, blankets are also distributed.
ALPHA OMEGA SCHOOL
We partnered with Mani & Rani to help rebuild the Christian school they started to provide affordable Christian education in the slums. The cost of public school is beyond the reach of many of these families and this school is a light in the darkness.
